section: Art Seeks the Toddler
show for children aged 2-5
Primo is an underwater show of dance theatre. Objects and poetry meet in a huge swimming pool into which children and their parents can peep through transparent windows. The show has its beginning in the primeval shelter - the place where the child is before birth, where we all were, in which gravity changes while movement and action acquire a different character. It is a space creating images of different shapes and depth, leaving the audience some room for free associations. Over, under and on the surface of water the size of body changes - feet grow, head disappears, everything is only a feeling and has its reflection.
