She has been living in Berlin for a decade, making an extraordinary kind of underground pop with the echoes of many musical genres, such as afrobeat, electro or punk. Her solo career launched with the album Is It Fire? (2009), hailed by critics as “the eruption of music orgy”. Before, she performed with punk and new wave bands, such as The Vanishing, The Knives and Subtonix.
