Dance workshop for senior citizens will be leaded by Mikołaj Mikołajczyk. Mikołaj Mikołajczyk is a choreographer and dancer called ‘the enfant terrible of the Polish dance’. As one of the few of contemporary dancers he uses ballet techniques as well. He graduated from the Olga Sławska-Lipczyńska State Ballet School in Poznań, and also studies History of Art and Sociology. He went through all the stages of an artist’s career: from an adept to the first soloist. He cooperated with choreographers representing various dancing styles, as well as directions of thinking and artistic creativity styles; among who were Henryk Tomaszewski, Conrad Drzewiecki, Mats Ek,
Birgitt Cullberg and Ewa Wycichowska. Mikołajczyk also directed movement for various operatic and dramatic plays of numerous directors, including Maja Kleczewska, Krzysztof warlikowski, Grzegorz Jarzyna, Krzysztof Garbaczewski, Mikołaj Grabowski and Małgorzata Dziewulska.Prior enrolment is essential: generator@malta-festival.pl
