  • JESSIE EVANS is an American singer, saxophonist, author of texts and a producer - a true diva and one of the most colourful figures of European pop. She has been living in Berlin for a decade, making an extraordinary kind of underground pop with the echoes of many musical genres, such as afrobeat, electro or punk. Her solo career launched with the album Is It Fire? (2009), hailed by critics as “the eruption of music orgy”. Before, she performed with punk and new wave bands, such as The Vanishing, The Knives and Subtonix. Every concert of Jessie Evans is an unforgettable performance - theatrical, sensual, capturing the audience with its energy. The artist on stage hypnotizes with her vocals, saxophone play and dance. She is accompanied by a drummer Deborah Saraiva, Toby Dammit, known for his cooperation with The Residents, Swans and Iggy & The Stooges. Through her music, the artist wants to give listeners the feeling of freedom and going beyond the restrictive system.
